DJ Shayne has been in the industry since 2004 starting out doing karaoke and dance parties in local bars and pubs. Since his first wedding gig in June 2005 DJ Shayne has hit the ground running performing upwards of 30-40 weddings per year all over Ontario from Niagara, Toronto, Collingwood and all surrounding areas. Weddings are DJ Shayne’s specialty always customized and curated to the clients personal taste and liking.

What equipment does DJ Shayne bring to each event?

DJ Shayne provides all of his own equipment including but not limited to two powered speakers, two powered subwoofers, Rane Performer DJ controller, one wireless Sennheiser microphone, one wired microphone, MacBook Pro, two pairs of headphones, music dedicated iPhone 15 Pro Max, uplighting, LG Cinebeam Q 4K UHD projector, XLR cables, power cords, extension cords, power hub and backup speakers.

Does DJ Shayne provide all of his music?

Yes, DJ Shayne has digital copies of over 15,000 songs and immediate access to any song known. He also has and is able to play and mix thousands of popular music videos through his LG Cinebeam Q 4K UHD projector.

Absolutely not. DJ Shayne does NOT charge anything above his hourly rate for performing time. There are no travel fees or any hidden fees. How do I know what DJ Shayne is legitimate?

DJ Shayne does not book any event without first having either an in person face-to-face meet and greet, video chat meeting or bare minimum a telephone call. After meeting a DJ agreement outlining terms such as date, performance time, venue and price is sent to the client as proof of arrangments. Then and only then once payment is received the DJ agreement is legally binding and the date is booked to you. DJ Shayne is a certified DJ with the Canadian Professional Disc Jockey Association (member ID 76505778) and all music is licensed by iConnect Music Licensing

Does DJ Shayne have a backup plan?

Equipment including soundsystem, DJ Controller, computers and vehicles are always tested and maintained the weeks leading up to performing events. He has backup soundsystems, computers, vehicles in the rate event of a mechanical or technical malfunction. Worst case scenerio DJ Shayne has a community of DJ’s willing to pick up the event for payment in full. So you can rest at ease knowing the show will go on.

What other services does DJ Shayne provide?

DJ Shayne offers a fully customizable DJ experience with services including but not limited to full wedding days from processional, cocktail hour, dinner music to reception. He also hosts birthday parties, karaoke nights, trivia nights, corporate parties, holiday gatherings, Stag & Does, dances, semi-formal dances, proms, festivals, promotional parties, nonprofit and charity events.

DJ Shayne is also your Master of Ceremonies at no extra cost upon request. This includes making special announcements such as grand entrance introductions, last call, after party, send-off, lost things, whats next for the couple, thank guests, tell guests photos with specific hashtag and of course.

For weddings, he will be there for you through the entire day from setup and sound test 3-hours prior to event start, processional, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner hour, grand entrance, reception to grand exit.

DJ Shayne also offers a slideshow comprising of your lovestory. Slideshows include up to three of your favourite songs and last up to 10 minutes. The cost is $350 + harmonized sales tax.
